Call for Papers

Do you want to present a paper at Sinergy 2004 ?

We have pleasure in informing you that Sinergy 2004 – Technical networks on show – will be held in Rimini Fiera’s Expo Centre halls from November 3rd to 5th 2004.

Sinergy 2004 with cover the issues regarding rational use of subsoil, a topic already faced by a Directive by Italy’s Prime Minister dated 3rd March 1999 (“Rational underground installation of technical systems”) and later by Lombardy Regional law N°26 of 12th December 2003.

Sinergy 2004 will be a showcase spotlighting the most advanced solutions for land planning, design, construction, management and maintenance of technical (utility) networks used to convey key energy sources, water, heat and linear telecommunications.

The large top-level expo that will be complemented by numerous conferences, coordinated by a Scientific Committee of experts.
Proposals for papers/speeches regarding the main sectors listed below will be examined by the Scientific Committee with a view to inclusion in one of the planned conferences.

THEMATIC SECTORS COVERED BY THE CONFERENCE ACTIVITY:

  • Legislative and normative problems.
  • Production, supply and sale of energy (gas, electricity and water).
  • Technologies for the transport and distribution of energy, data and signals.
  • Design, construction and management of utility networks.
  • ICT and other technologies used in utility networks (hardware, software, consultation).
  • Metering and billing.

Papers proposed must have the following characteristics:

  1. The speech/paper proposed must be original and not previously published.
  2. The abstract must not exceed 300 words and must be written in good Italian.
  3. The abstract must have received the necessary authorization from the writer’s firm.

Proposed speeches/papers must be sent to the Scientific Committee c/o Cenacolo srl within and no later than 30/09/04. The Committee reserves the right to reject any proposals received after this deadline.

The Scientific Committee recommends interested parties to present their documents and abstracts in electronic format.
